Therapy for people who want healthier relationships — starting with the one they have with themselves.
Do you ever feel like…
You feel “too much” or “not enough” in relationships
You’re good at supporting others but unsure how to express your own needs
You have a history of people-pleasing, difficulty with boundaries, or losing yourself in relationships
You grew up in a home where emotions were big, complicated, or unpredictable
You carry shame around your past, your sexuality, or the ways you cope
You’re high-functioning on the outside but anxious, numb, or self-critical inside
You’ve used achievement, caretaking, humor, sex, or independence to feel worthy or safe
You’re Not Alone

Welcome to Written Within.
Maybe you struggle in relationships, overthink interactions, or feel responsible for keeping things steady for everyone else. You may carry a sense of not being enough, a strong inner critic, or patterns of people-pleasing that leave you disconnected from your own needs and identity.
In our work together, we slow down and turn inward, making sense of your experiences and learn the stories that contribute to who you are today. From there, we begin to reconnect with your own voice, your needs, and your sense of direction; building a more compassionate relationship with yourself so your relationships with others can feel clearer, more secure, and more fulfilling. Together, we gently untangle old survival patterns, release shame around the ways you coped, and help you reconnect with your body, your voice, and your inner steadiness. Healing here isn’t just about processing pain, it’s about building a more secure relationship with yourself so your relationships with others can feel safer, clearer, and more fulfilling.
Healing isn’t about becoming someone new; beneath the stories you had to live by, your truest self is already written within.

Some stories are learned.

What story are you holding?
What’s the story you want to create?
At the heart of this work is a simple yet important question:
Who are you, and how did you get here?
Often, the patterns we struggle with begin in early relationships and life experiences where being attuned to others was necessary. Over time, you may have lost touch with who you are beneath those roles. Perhaps you’re in a season of change , in your relationships, career, or sense of self , and what once worked no longer fits, leaving you feeling ungrounded or unsure of your direction.
Healing can begin with a pause — a moment to slow down, breathe, and turn inward. Together, we explore the stories, relationships, and experiences that have shaped you, and the meanings you’ve made along the way. We begin to notice what you’ve been carrying, what has protected you, and what may no longer serve you.
From this place of awareness, new choice becomes possible. With greater clarity and self-compassion, you can move forward with intention, deciding how you want to relate to yourself, others, and the next chapters of your life.
When we slow down, we can choose our story instead of repeating it.
Our work together
In a world that moves faster than ever, therapy offers an opportunity to slow down, to cultivate patience, kindness, and accountability within yourself in ways that can meaningfully impact how you live.
Through both reflection and practical skills, you are supported in growing at your own pace, taking what we explore in session into your everyday life. My hope is that by developing a more authentic relationship with yourself, you build the courage to live in alignment with your values and goals.
